Baby, it’s cold outside. So, a good cup of hot cocoa is what you need and this Cardamom Hot Cocoa will warm your soul.

Have you ever smelled cardamom? Every time I open my little jar of cardamom pods I get a whiff of the lovely, intense aroma. It’s flowery, lemony, minty, earthy and somehow it’s so comforting, it takes you to another place even if it’s just for a moment.
Ok, I need to focus.
I used to buy those boxes of powdered cocoa mix. I know, I can’t believe it either. They did the job in a pinch, but I’ve turned over a new leaf and I’m making hot cocoa myself now.
This was an experiment, I wanted to see how cardamom hot cocoa would taste. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out…I’m so glad I tried it. It. Is. Incredible. Seriously, don’t miss out on this. You won’t be sorry.
I used almond milk here but you can use regular vitamin D milk if you prefer. You can sweeten with powdered sugar or with your favorite sweetener . You’ll want to use a good quality cocoa here. It makes a difference.
